Dennis Kucinich, with Republicans Defeat Patriot Act Provision and GOP Leadership

Enough talk from the mainstream media about disunity within the Democratic party. By all accounts - it is the same old democrats - all over the place. The real story is the super size rift happening in the GOP. In a vote to extend some expiring provisions of the Bush Patriot Act, 26 republicans, among them eight Tea Party backed members, joined Ohio Rep Dennis Kucinich, a long-time opponent of the post-911 legistlation which granted unprecedented authority to the president to conduct all manners of surveilance within and outside of the United States - some without court warrant.
